Ver essa foto no Instagram The first video we got of fish and our meeting. Ver essa foto no Instagram Fish, was found locked inside the front gates with her brother outside my shelter that I volunteer at. She is a very small pit in size only being about the size of a beagle but with the sweetest face. My boyfriend and I fell in love when we saw her curled in a ball in her kennel. She wiggled her way to us and she showered us with affection. When we took her out of her kennel she cowered in fear from the barking dogs being completely confused by the circumstances. We had to stop and keep cheering her on to get her to the meet and greet yards. Once inside and she noticed how much quieter it was she ran to us and cling tightly to our legs. Her tail was wagging and dandruff from her bare skin was flying everywhere. My boyfriend sat down and she climbed into his lap and rolled all over him to give him all the affection her tiny body can give. She covered his shirt in blood from her tiny scabs opening up in the Florida heat. She literally marked us. I visited her everyday till we could figure out some things at home with our other animals but we knew we needed her. After my shift on Tuesday I signed the paperwork and gladly stamped the adopted paper eagerly. And walked back to her kennel showing her the page and talking to her as if she could understand. I gave her one last treat and a few scratches before leaving it up to the vets to do more testing and treatments. Once they clear her Fish will be joining a family that will give her the love she always deserved!
